He's my photography hero. He always caught the light at the right moment. He travelled for months at a time and took many risks to get the perfect shot. He had a strong connection with nature. But best of all (in my opinion), he helped put Yosemite on the map.

Great post Marissa! Ansel Adams is a favorite of mine as well. His photos really capture the purity of nature. Speaking of putting Yosemite on the map. These photos were my initial inspiration to visit the park. If it works now, it must of drawn visitors back when they were taken.
