Bri and I have decided to do our project on Uta Barth. She is a contemporary photographer who works in Los Angeles, California. She photographs light and the way it can be abstract. I really enjoy how her photos are out of focus which makes the colors and her photos muted. I feel calm when I look at her photos and it is refreshing to look at in image just to get a certain mood, instead of looking at a photo to gain information. She has a simple, minimilust style that I really love and I am very excited to learn more about her and let the class know about her.
