Todd Hido
I just fell in love with Todd Hido, he takes photos of many subjects but my favorite and the majority of his work is shooting suburban and urban houses and apartments across America at night. Even though the photographs I chose to show, have lights that are on in the house, it feels like no one is home. His photographs are eery and lonely feeling. I like the lonely feeling I get because there is a weird contrast going on between me knowing there are people in the house but feeling alone. Night can change the feeling of anything.

Great post, Lacey. Do you think Hido has anything in common with (or takes any inspiration from) Edward Hopper?
