I think these last couple of weeks on the blog have gone really well. It seems to me that you all are doing a great job of following your interests and being creative about how you engage with the history of photography. The way I see it, the blog is a nice informal forum for that creativity. Your scrapbooks are much more comprehensive, thorough, and meaningful, while still showing off your personality and innovations as you plow through the subject. And your papers and presentations will demonstrate your ability to research, write, and talk in a more formal and professional manner about the state of the photography world now. I've been pleased to see each of you learn how to do the work of this course and to watch everyone improve over the last dozen weeks. In celebration of all of that, I have tallied your current blog grades and posted them on Blackboard in the Grade Center. Here's how it works:
+If your score on Blackboard is a 100 that means you have been doing a fantastic job posting on the blog. Thank you and congratulations; you are done! You are hereby released from your blogging responsibilities! Hooray! Go forth and eat turkey! (Or tofurkey, if that's your game...)
+If your score is less than 100, do not fret! There's still time! You can still add points to that score. In fact, you can earn 5 points for each new post you write from now until 5pm on December 9. Don't blast the blog, though; there is a limit on this. You can only earn points for one post per day.
I hope that this will help you see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's there, just ask Ed Ruscha...
