Next Tuesday, November 13, I will be going on a field trip (with some of you I'm sure) to the Art Institute and Contemporary Art Museum in Chicago. I was looking in to the different exhibitions at the museums and discovered the Art Institute will be having a photography exhibition all about film and photography in New York City in the 1900s. The exhibition will included works by photographers we have studied this semester, such as Paul Strand and Weegee, as well as others. I am interested to see some rarely seen street photographs on view on my visit.
