Going off of Dean's post about Denis Darzacq, Natsumi Hayashi also does levitation photographs. She does jumping self portraits that look like she's levitating in different scenes, while still managing to retain completely natural and calm facial expressions.
She lives in Tokyo and takes these self portraits frequently, so you should check her page if you're interested. She hasn't posted any recent photographs in a while, but I know that she used to post them daily.
Here is her website.
Also, her
about page talks about how she takes the images, most by using self timer, which seems absurd.
I put this on Dean's post, too:
ReplyDeleteHave you seen conceptual artist Yves Klein's Into the Void photo from 1960? An inspiration, perhaps?
