Photographer: Vik Muniz
We decided on Vik Muniz because of the different mediums(chocolate, thread, magazines cutouts) that he uses and photographs. His work is light hearted and fun to view. In the the article, "100th Anniversary of the Discovery of Machu Picchu", Muniz creates modern day paintings that are made of magazine collage cutouts then photographs them. We think he is inventive and very creative and are excited to learn more about Mr. Muniz. :)

Hi Marlee,
ReplyDeleteGreat choice! Did you know we have a big Muniz photo at the BSU/Owsley Museum? It used to hang where the Coplans is now. It's sleeping at present (taking a break from the damaging light rays...zzzz) Your bibliographic entry must have an author and a date. Check again. It's really not possible to publish a journal article without a date or a volume number. Please revise and repost either by editing your original post or by commenting here.
Also, the article does have an author. NA is not sufficient.
