Bri Beck- Uta Barth

Lacey and I have decided that we would love to research Uta Barth for our upcoming project. Uta is a contemporary photographer living and working in LA. She is originally from Berlin, Germany. Currently, she is a professor of art emeritus. Uta showcases work that is out of focus, light, airy, abstract, and quite beautiful. I get a very feminine feeling from her work. Maybe that is why I was automatically attracted to her work. There is delicacy and hopeful emotion that reads from her photographs. I am excited to research her as a female artist and become inspired from her style along the way.
