Thomas Demand

Thomas Demand is a German artist. Originally trained as a sculptor, he has transitioned to photography and filmmaking. He started photographing as a means to record his sculptures, but now he creates sculptures as subjects for his photography. He creates life sized three-dimensional models with paper and cardboard, photographs them, and then destroys them. I find his work to be very interesting.
