Photostream

The 5 Second Photostream is a project where....well, I'll just let them explain it:

This is a street photography project between Fleecircus and Danny St to capture the different personalities that make up face of Singapore. We roam around the streets of Singapore with an illustration board for a makeshift background, look for strangers with distinct faces, then ask "Can I take your picture? It'll just take 5 seconds..." If they agree, we quickly click away :)

I think that's mad cool. We are so swamped with carefully selected images from the media of what people should look like that our perception becomes horribly skewed. It's pretty neat to see the "every day", there are some really interesting personalities that surface! I also think it makes for a great portrait practice resource.
